The leopard in the closet

Maybe I shouldn’t wear red.
I could wear blue or green.
Some people say I should wear yellow
But I don’t know.

Purple is subdued and violet is washed out.
Black is slimy and white is bland.

Pink is garish and navy is ruff.
Grey is moody and peach is bright.
People can say what they want
Leopard print will always be in.

We have been learning about Charles Dickens and his life, books and family.
We also learned about Victorian times, and decided to make a stop motion animation about Dickens
Also we looked up on the internet about when Charles Dickens was alive. We learned he was married to Catherine Hogarth. Also, he had two jobs before he became an author.
Dickens was born 7th February 1812. This year, it is the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens’ birth. We decided to make the stop motion animation. First I created a story board about Charles Dickens and his life. It was fun.
We started to take photos of a doll we made of Charles Dickens. We created a background for the video in GIMP.

EveSec Blog Award

It all started with a few searches on WordPress.com but then suddenly our dreary trawl was over, our job was done, we’d found THEM!

Here we have some interesting links for you on some things I guarantee you’ve never come across before in your life!
First of all have a look at this link, it didn’t make it as one of our best http://21stcenturyarticles.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/remember-the-rugby-world-cup-2011-forever/#comment-28blogs but it has a very informative article about rugby which I’m sure you’ll like. The rest of the blog is very intriguing though and will appeal to the more mature audience.

The blogs that we are nominating are: http:Mybnk.com/ this is a very interesting blog for young people, you’ll regret not having a look!

The link above is my favourite, but have a look at these other blogs, they will satisfy your expensive taste 😉

http://archemdis.wordpress.com”>

http://formula1.wordpress.com”>

http://dancergyrl4eva.wordpress.com/“> This is one for the ladies 😉

Well you might be wondering why we started are blog awards. As members of wordpress.com we wanted a way of showing others out there in the blogosphere that we not only had seen there blog but that we actually thought that it was either interesting or that it was so cool that we couldn’t stop reading it.

We would have courses like to mention everyone that we looked at but the list would just be too long so don’t feel too disheartened I’m sure that you will get onto or list next time

We all love animals in this classroom they’re fluffy, cute, furry and adorable. Who’d have thought that only a stones throw away from the hospital is a mesmerising home to animals? Vauxhall City Farm is home to pigs, chickens, cows, sheep, ferrets, turkeys, rabbits, ducks, guinea pigs, horses, alpacas and a donkey named Jako. Vauxhall City Farm runs a number of farmyard projects and volunteer programmes and a busy riding programme were visitors get the chance to have a ride on the farms first donkey Jako! They also has an ecology garden. All of the activies  help to support the farm as it manly run by volunteers and charity workers. The farm was originally set up by the people that lived in the surrounding area and is largely supported by the local community. The farm also hosts a small animal enclosure where the public can get up close with some of there smaller animals.

Fingers and Thumbs

Scrumlosom scrumlosom

I’ve got eight fingers but only two thumbs.

I can pick up fruit, peaches, plums,

Oranges and apples, thank goodness for my thumbs.

Bunches of bananas like fingers on a hand.

Walking in the moonlight walking on the sand.
