Mancunian born Gold Medalist and Olympic Champion Etienne Stott is visiting the Evelina Childrens Hospital this afternoon. The 33 year old Stott who started his professional career in the early 2000’s plans to meet children at the Evelina Hospital School and patients are eagerly waiting for his arrival. Trained by Nick Smith he stormed to victory in the London Olympics Canoe Slalom with his team mate and friend Tim Baillie. Patients and students at the Hospital are planning to ask him questions on his future plans and how it feels to win a Gold medal.

We are preparing to enter a film competition. 90 second film in one take, only two charactures and shot in Southwark. We made a start this morning. These drafts are all under 60 secs, have a listen and vote for the one you think we should develop.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg was at a meeting at the Evelina Hospital this morning.
Staff and pupils of the school arrived to find the end of the atrium patrolled by security.
Nick Clegg was here talking to heads of departments.
To the disappointment of secondary pupils, he did not visit the school.
