Monday, 23rd April is St George’s day. According to legend, George killed a dragon and became a hero.

So this week’s challenge is linked to the legend.

Here it is:

…the dragon slowly stirred …

We have some pictures of St George in the classroom you can look at for inspiration, including this one by Ucello.
When you have finished your story, post it in the comments box.

Good luck!

  1. INC says:

We didn’t really follow the challenge this week. Instead, we read about St George, enjoyed Finola Akister’s poem St George and the Dragon, and started work on new poems and stories inspired by the way it subverted the legend.
    Good work all round!
