A funeral yesterday sparked controversy with Amnesty international as it saw a family who was burying their 24 year old son attacked by Bahraini forces. They were in the midst of dealing with protesters and then attacked the funeral with tear gas and tortured and dumped the family of the man being buried. AI have spoken on the matter and have said “The security forces must be instructed on how to use tear gas in line with international policing standards”
The family of a man who collapsed after a heavy volley of tear gas have said they were attacked by the forces on Tuesday near their home in a Shia Village.Activist are saying 4 people have died this week due to the armed forces.
This brings the death-toll to at least 50 since the civil unrest has started last year.
