ST GEORGES

23rd of April is St Georges day. The flag of St George is red and white; a red cross in the middle and white all the way around it. George was born in eastern Turkey (that’s where I’m from).

It was in the times of ad in 270. His parents where Christian. St George killed a dragon. He is a patron saint of England.

Another reason why the 23rd of April is good, is because it Manuela’s (our headteacher) birthday!

One more thing, my school’s called St Georges too.
